I had posted my shipment before and Northern Haulers disappeared on me after I had already deposited in their account $550 as a deposit. I heard back from Northern when they allegedly where on their way to pick up my boat… which in fact was already 2 weeks behind schedule, 1 week after cancellation and over 10 phone calls and e-mails to prove my attempts to contact the shipper. After such nightmare I decided to give USHIP another shot but this time I thoroughly read the feedback on each shipper and chose more carefully. Doug had an impeccable record so I accepted his bid. Compared with the other experience Doug was always available, picked up the boat right on time, was in constant communication and delivered right on schedule. I was so pleased that I even gave him an extra $50 for his professionalism!! To this day I still have not heard back from Northern to return my $550 (which I was clearly scammed out off!) USHIP should do better due diligence to accept more people like Doug and less like Northern Shippers who are a disgrace for an honest profession! I would recommend Doug to anyone wanting to ship their nice toys with and please do your homework before you signup just anyone with your precious possessions.
