While on vacation, a friend of mine and I (actually our wives!) bought some patio furniture from a wholesaler. And by "some" I mean about 20 pieces ranging from ottomans to a very very heavy marble table.
The wholesaler did not offer shipping services, so we thought we'd go with a standard freight hauler. Boy, was that a mistake. They needed tons of information, including the exact dimensions and weight of each item and quoted some prices that were really higher than we expected.
Enter uShip and Charles @ txmaddog. He worked with the wholesaler to ensure that the items were wrapped in shippable condition without me havingto ask. He was super responsive, got everything to Austin on time and in perfect condition, and even helped us unload everything.
