When I decided to take an internship across the country, I was extremely worried about what I was going to do with my horse. I adopted him 11 years ago from a rescue shelter and we have been very close since.
I thought about trailoring him over here (Seattle) from where we live (Atlanta), but as a college student, I figured that I would never be able to afford it on my own (my parents thought it was ridiculous). Anyway, I stummbled upon this site and decided to give it a shot.
After a few days I got an amazing price offer from Guy Sears. It was less than half the price I thought I was going to have to pay to ship my horse across the country.
I was skeptical at first, but after reading nearly a hundred posts of feedback I realized that I had found the right person.
He picked up my horse on time and delivered him on time to Seattle. He stopped every night to unload him at a horse motel so that the trip would not be as stressful. My horse was clearly uneasy at first and Guy took the time to befriend and get him eating regularly again.
The return to Atlanta was even better. When Guy walked in the barn, my horse perked up to see him (I guess knowing that this was the man that spoiled him a few months ago). I have never seen my horse be comfortable around a man, but he was truly happy to see Guy. I was amazed.
My horse got into Atlanta a few days ago. My trainer called to tell me that he looks great and unloaded off the trailer as a jolly little horse that he usually is.
I could not thank Guy enough. He made my summer! I was able to go riding every day after work and spend quality time with my horse. It was such a great experience! Thank you uShip.com for making all of this possible!
