Robert from R and K Hauling took on the arduous task of shipping 4 full sized horses, a mini and a pony from Northern Idaho to Southern Arizona! What a trip. Since we only have a 3 horse trailer, we hired a professional to take our horses across the country. When Robert arrived it was mass chaos. I had just come back from 4-H horse camp with one of the horses and my friends were there with the other 5 horses and people, dogs, cats and kids were everywhere. Robert kept his cool the whole time. While loading, two of my horses decided to kick the starch out of each other and my old guy didn't really want to load. Robert was amazingly patient with them and helped us load everyone up one by one and lived through several changes in the order they would be loaded and who their companion would be. Finally they were off. Two days later my horses arrived safely at the stables in Benson, Arizona. Robert kept in touch with me and the J-Six Equestrian Center the whole time, making all of us feel a little better. Nothing like loading your precious cargo onto the trailer of a perfect stranger to set your nerves on alert! His price was very competitive, his equipment in good shape, and his patience was top notch. It's not easy shipping 6 horses 1500 miles on what turned out to be one of the hottest weeks on record for the southwest. uShip turned me on to the many possibilities of shipping things across America and I would definitely use them again.
