I had a horrible experience with a "broker," who agreed to ship my car in 3 wks. the problem was, everytime i called, they told me the same thing - "we haven't gotten a chance to pick it up yet, but it should be there in about 3 wks." they told me the same thing even when i called three weeks later. the car was still sitting in the driveway of the house i had moved out of 3 wks earlier. their suggestion when i yelled was that i didn't have to pay. "Pay for what???" I asked. "My car is exactly where I left it." When folsom transport contacted me, the man i spoke with was the ACTUAL driver, who gave me a REAL schedule, and an EXACT PRICE and a 2-3 DAY WINDOW within which he would deliver it by (the ONLY shipper I talked to who was able to do so). He called when he said he'd call, took pictures of the car at pickup, and made sure I checked the car before he left the drop-off point. After such a horrible experience trying to call so many "broker" companies who wouldn't guarantee anything, it was such a relief to deal with someone so reliable and honest. I had such a positive experience, and I only wish I had used them to ship the rest of my stuff too (furniture, etc). Six weeks, later, I'm still waiting on that.
