I shipped some furniture from MD to WI. I had looked into renting a truck, and that was going to run me $1K for the truck, plus about $200 for fuel. Using uShip, it cost me $650, and I didn't have to waste a day and a half driving a truck. Plus, I avoided the risk that I would have run as an amateur driving a big vehicle. Finally, while I did have to help the mover load and unload the truck, that beat loading a rental truck all by myself.
