I must say that this was my first time using uShip and I have to admit that I was apprehensive and not entirely comfortable with the idea of using uShip for a car shipment. Especially the car that I sent. It was an '86 Suzuki Samurai that I was sending to Florida for my son to use while interning at a company there. It is an old car that is in great shape but doesn't have much value, but greater value in what it meant for my son. I had a very defined timeline to get it to him so that he could in fact secure this position. I was surprised that I got a couple of bites quickly from the posting and knew I had to respond immediately. I generally knew what it cost to have a vehicle shipped and I knew that the bids I was receiving were fair. I was just a bit leary of sending the car off by a company I didn't know that well. I got a very fair bid and after reviewing the feedback area that uShip has available from their matches, I accepted the bid. The communication was good and the '86 Suzuki Samurai arrived earlier than expected which meant my son was able to secure the position with no issues. This made me a very happy mom with a very happy son!
