I purchased a Honda CT-70 on e-bay. This is a small trail bike,and a vintage vehicle (1970) The seller was in Washington,North of Seattle. I was in southern New Jersey. Now, how to get it here! The seller had gotten a shipping quote from a shipper that he had done business with in the past. His price was in the $600.00 neighborhood. I happened upon u-Ship and listed my shippment. Used the "book it now" option asking if someone would ship my new toy for $300.00 Within 2 days I recieved a quote from Lear Shipping. I accepted their bid, and was quickly in phone contact with Terry Lear and we worked out all the details. I listed my shippment on 3/25/07.I accepted the bid 0n 3/31. The bike was picked up on Good Friday (4/6),and delivered on 4/12/07! That was a pick up on the west coast,and a delivery on the east coast within 6 days!!! Now when I listed the shippment, I stated that both the pick-up and the delivery dates were very flexible, but I never expected such quick service! I had owned one of these fun little bikes when I was a kid, and always wanted to get another one someday. When I found this little gem, I was exstatic. But I was very apprehensive about shipping it with an unknowned (by Me) shipper. I put my faith in the hands of u-Ship, and thus Lear Shipping. I was rewarded with a very quick, curtious experience. My new little gem arrived in perfect condition, and is now resting comfortably in my garage. My thanks to Terry Lear, and his driver, Carson.
