I fell in love with a 1999 Motoguzzi on January 27th, 1999 at a bike show in Kansas City. It was impossible to buy and ride home due to 12 inches of snow, but the dealer was located in Wichita Kansas, I'm in Oklahoma City. So I told him I would buy one in Wichita that summer. But on May 3rd,1999 my home, my business, my money was all blown away by the worst tornado in history, so buying a motorcycle was out of the question. So next year when the Kansas City bike show rolled around I planned on taking a trailor to the show to haul back my Motoguzzi, but in October a truck broadsided my car and the accident broke my back. I had major back surgery on January 3rd, 2000. 30 days flat on my back, one year no lifting or working. So again, no Motoguzzi. Married in March 2000, new baby boy in December 2000, You got it, no bike show or bike in January 2001. My new wife said no bike in 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005. In 2006 she said that it was either her, or my dream bike. I don't really miss her that much. Finally found the perfect 1999 Motoguzzi on ebay this January, only 1200 miles, just like new. Won the auction, now so anxious to get it home. Found Uship and saved 50% on the shipping, plus the shipper, Mr Figgs was tremendous. He picked the bike up thursday morning in Northwest Illinois and delivered to my door at 2:30 am friday. When he contacted me on the rode and asked what time would be best for friday delivery I told him he could bring it anytime during the night, that there wasn't going to be any sleeping until it arrived. So he agreed to keep driving until he got to my house. There is about 2 inches of snow on the ground and I'd swear that it was a fat white haired man in a red suit, driving a sleigh pulled by reindeer that drove up my long driveway. Yes Santa (Mrfiggs) fulfilled my 8 year old dream tonight. My 1999 Motoguzzi is now sitting on my drive, right outside my bedroom window so that I can look at it all night. Thank you Uship for providing excellent service, and for having Santa deliver the Motoguzzi on Feb 2nd, to a very happy kid, that celebrated his 57th birthday on January 27th.
