OK, I don't know how long USHIP has been in operation, but I did not know anything like this was arround until Monday, Oct. 8, 2007. I just found a cute little puppy on the internet in Georgia, (I live in Canyon Lake, TX). I live alone and was really needing a pet. I fell instantly in love with a Rat Terrier from RGRATS in Cloudland, TN. Rhonda, the breeder, loves her animals and is cautious about shipping by airlines and such, and I was also. I told her, hang on and let me see what I can do because I want that puppy!! She placed her on hold and I started looking for a way. By searching the web for hours, I finally found USHIP. I was amazed by it instantly, wished I would have thought of it first and wanted to quit my job and start a shipping service myself!! It is just perfect and helps so many people. "People helping people, that's powerful stuff", to quote Vince Vaughn in Wedding Crashers!!! Any way, I listed "Rat Terrier from Chatanooga to San Antonio" on Tuesday, Oct. 9th late afternoon and put in a ship it now price. I thought I would have problems, by the next time I looked, I had a match, and the shipper, theoccc7 had great feedback. I called the breeder, and told her the news. By Friday, Oct. 12th at 11:00am I am holding my puppy!! I am so happy I have cried and laughed and will have a wonderful weekend with my new family member.
