I wanted to move two sofas from Newcastle to my sister in Glasgow. I was struggling to find the time, hire a van and didn't relish the 160 mile drive there followed by the immediate return journey. I looked for a local contractor but couldn't find enough info or locate one that dealt with simple, domestic deliveries. I found uship, and others, on the web. I chose uship, put my listing on and within a matter of hours had my transport booked, at a time that was good for me and for the cost that I was willing to pay. I felt that I offered a fair price - based on what it would cost me to do myself. Given that I got sorted so quickly, I would say that I pitched it just right. I got value for money, the service provider got fair payment. Our service provider was great - from first contact through to confirming details and flexible to suit us. I like the concept of uship - I found the reviews and listings to be helpful. I would most certainly recommend uship, I'd also recommend being fair and just with what you are prepared to pay.
