I bought a roller shutter door online saving myself several hundred pounds when compared to local companies. However, the supplier couldnt offer a delivery service and quoted £350 from his usual courier to deliver from Essex to Cornwall. I tried half a dozen couriers, who either couldnt offer to deliver at all (the item was 4 metres long) or quoted prohibitive prices. I discovered Uship via a search engine and signed up and within half an hour I had a bid of £180 which I felt was reasonable and close to my target price. The courier had some good feedbacka and so after getting used to the Uship system (and rules of communication) I booked the courier online via Uship. It was a very similar experience to the Ebay concept and the service the Courier provided was excellent. He was suitably "rewarded" with positive feedback from me. I will use Uship again next time I have a need for a courier.
