I am restoring my 1972 VW panel van and one of the many panels that needed replacing was the complete roof section. A lot of rust free panels are imported from california, Australia and South Africa. I managed to find a complete roof section but it was located in Glossop, Derbyshire. I needed to get it shipped to West Sussex, where my van is being restored. The price for transportation that I was quoted by the importer was £270, which seemed a lot of money. So I decided to hire a vehicle and go and collect it myself, but firstly thought I'd check to see if there was easier way to get it delivered and after a quick search on the internet I found Uship so I put in the details and almost immediatly started getting quotes, I ended up not going with the cheapest but with the guy who had really good feedback, a guy by the name of Matthew McCormack who did an excellent job of transporting the roof section for half the price I was originally quoted! I would definatly use this service again and would recommend it to anyone wanting to move anything. Very Good.
