Thanks to uShip and Rick Garrison the WhiteVanMan we finally managed to get all my son's belongings back from Portsmouth! He was a university student there til 10 months ago when he went into renal failure and was rushed into hospital in London leaving all his bits and pieces down there in storage for the last 10 months. We were quoted £375 for getting it back home which obviously was OTT since it was just a chair and a small filing cabinet and a dozen boxes. Uship was easy to deal with, within a couple of days of posting the job we received a series of increasingly-good quotes for the job and in the end we did it for less than a quarter of that. nMy son can now move into his new flat just round the corner from the dialysis unit! Job done.
