I tried uShip having had no success finding a courier who could deliver at the weekend through Shiply, a courier search website I had previously used. I managed to get a courier at very short notice (10pm on a Friday night before delivery on Saturday). The delivery service I received was very good and antique furniture arrived safe and on time, with good communication from the courier throughout the day. What makes uShip better than Shiply and why I would definitely use uShip again is that they do not charge any fees for advertising your courier job. This is in contrast to Shiply who charged me about £5 for a £50 delivery which wasn't made that clear when I placed the advert and accepted a bid. I was quite surprised when this charge came through as I wasn't expecting it. Therefore, I thoroughly recomment uShip above Shiply.
